Flood Rescue Boat Operator

Overview

The Flood Rescue Boat Operator training course is a 3-day training course that covers all elements of the RBO course and adds a flood rescue capability. It is ideal for any rescue teams who may attend flood events with boats to provide a rescue capability in still or slow moving water.

Course Specifications
Duration: 3 days (It can also be run as a 1-day module for those who already hold the RBO qualification or RYA powerboating level 2)
Prerequisites: Swiftwater and Flood First Responder or alternative Defra module 2 qualification
Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe
Qualification valid for: 3 years
