Lifejacket Competent User

Overview

The Lifejacket Competent User course will teach personnel who will work on or near the water how to correctly check, maintain and safely wear a gas-inflation lifejacket.  The lifejacket is worn as PPE in case of accidental entry into the water.

Course Specifications
Duration: 6 hours (1 days)
Prerequisites: Must be a confident Swimmer
Minimum age: 18
Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe
Qualification valid for: 3 years

  • Manual inflation and deflation
  • Rescue drills with lifejacket
