Confined Space Rescue Operator

Overview

The Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO) course will teach you the knowledge and skills to work safely during a confined space rescue and be an effective member of a confined space rescue team working under the supervision of Confined Space Rescue Technicians. Topics that are covered include: hazards of confined spaces, gas detection and monitoring, legislation and guidelines, knots, loads and forces, building anchors, using pulley systems, use of multi-pod, climbing and rappelling, lowering and hoisting of rescuer and victim, standard configurations, stretchers used for confined space, situation risk analysis and incident management.

Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18
Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe
Qualification valid for: 3 years
