Flood Operations

Overview

The Flood Operations (formerly Flood Operations for Emergency Planners and Workers) course has been designed in conjunction with local government agencies to teach emergency planners and workers in the flood environment about the basic hazards, risk identification, and simple self-rescue techniques. At the end of this course, you will have a set of basic skills for safely working in floods.

Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: Must be a confident swimmer
Minimum age: 18
Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe
Qualification valid for: 3 years

  • Shallow water crossing techniques for flood access & evacuation
  • Use of boats for flood evacuation
