Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician

Overview

The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT) course complies with Defra Module 3 content requirements, and is considered the benchmark for water rescue training. This course will train you to perform rescues as part of a team in a swiftwater and flood environment. Agencies who have undertaken this training include fire services, police services, mountain rescue teams, and ambulance hazard area response teams.

Course Specifications
Duration: 4 days
Prerequisites: Must be a confident swimmer
Minimum age: 18
Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe
Qualification valid for: 3 years
