Service Description
This course covers safe working at heights principles and then trains participants to deal with a colleague who has fallen and is hanging in their fall arrest system. It is designed for workers who may be exposed to the risk of falling while at work and provides the skills required to recover co-workers safety to the ground. Course Length: 2 days Pre Requisites: None Suitable for workers who may be exposed to falls from height as part of their role and provides the skills required to straight forward work safely at height and perform co worker rescue using simple industry solutions. Course includes: • Legislation, standards and risk assessments • Equipment for working at height & selecting anchors • Use of work restraint and fall arrest techniques • Use of work positioning to access a casualty • Connecting a casualty to a rope using a telescopic pole • Lifting a casualty using industrial solutions • Lowering a casualty to the ground Delivered from our training facility in Plymouth. You will use indoor roped access training area and have access to our PASMA towers, MEWP and crane cage as apart of the course if required for your situation.
