Rescue 3 instructor update – Rope Rescue 3 Instructor Updates To remain an active Rescue 3 Instructor for your chosen discipline(s) you are required to complete a biannual instructor update process. This includes registration with Rescue 3 on their website, followed by an online module to complete. You are also required to attend a practical 1-day update workshop. ISAR3 will be hosting practical instructor update workshops from our training centre in Plymouth. All instructors within the scheme who require an update are welcome to book in and attend. Each workshop will run from 0900hrs – 1600hrs on the day. The workshops will include: • practical teaching / exploring for syllabus areas. • Technical updates • An element of personal skills assessment. Each attending instructor should bring a full set of personal technical equipment for their chosen discipline. All team / group technical equipment will be provided by ISAR3. You will be outside for most of the workshop so please bring appropriate clothing, together with sufficient hydration and packed lunch.
