Service Description

The Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS) course takes your rope rescue rigging to another level. This workshop is designed for experienced operators and team leaders who face complex access and rescue challenges using the latest equipment and techniques. Course Length: 5 days Valid for: 3 years Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe Pre-Requisites: Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) Suitable for commercial working at height rescue standby teams, emergency services personnel and mountain / lowland rescue teams working at height / rope rescue team leaders and lead riggers. Course includes: • Advanced rope systems analysis • Advanced high directional & complex rescue scenarios • Lead climbing • Taglines & guiding lines, and deflection lines • Vertical litter edge transitions • Complex highline systems • Use of powered winches • Offsets and multistage belay rescues • Night operations Delivered from our training facility in Plymouth. You will use our indoor roped access training area, outdoor natural crags, industrial sites, and large structures as part of the course.
