Service Description

This course is aimed at those entering low or medium risk confined spaces with a horizontal entry. The course covers the relevant legislation, air monitoring, safe systems of work. Valid for: 3 years Duration: 6 hours (1 Day) Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe Pre-Requisites: A minimum age of 18 years. Course includes: • Introduction to Confined Space Legislation • Personal Safety • Safe Systems of Work for Horizontal Entry. • Isolation of Services – Lock Out and Tag Out • Introduction to gas monitors and the gas hazards • Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) – Escape Sets • Introduction to ventilation systems • Connecting to a safety line • On Scene safety briefing • Emergency Procedures This course can also be delivered as a contract course at a location that best suits you.
