Service Description
This course is aimed at those entering low or medium risk confined spaces with a horizontal and vertical entry. The course covers the relevant legislation, air monitoring, and safe systems of work. Valid for: 3 years Duration: 1 Day Certified by: Rescue 3 Europe Pre-Requisites: A minimum age of 18 years. Course includes: • Introduction to Confined Space Legislation • Personal Safety • Safe Systems of Work for Horizontal Entry. • Isolation of Services – Lock Out and Tag Out • Introduction to gas monitors and the atmospheric hazards • Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) – Escape Sets • Introduction to ventilation systems • Knots and terminations • Anchor systems • Tripod configuration and mechanical hoists • Work restraint • Vertical confined space entry and exit • On Scene safety briefing • Emergency Procedures.
